When you visit, you can expect a warm welcome, meaningful worship, and Bible-centered teaching in a relaxed and friendly environment. Come as you are and discover a place where you can grow in faith, build relationships, and feel at home.

  • What time is Sunday Service?

    Service starts at 11:00 a.m.

  • Is there children?

    Yes, we have "Tator Town" which is for children; infant to Kindergarten. Every volunteer has had a background check and has gone through special training. We also have "The Mark' which is designed for kids 1st though 5th grade. They meet during the message and return during the remainder of the service or at the very end.

  • What should I wear?

    We are more interested in what is happening on the inside than what is on the outside. We do ask that you wear something that is family friendly.

  • What is the music like?

    We offer a lot of different styles of music, mostly current worship songs with a little edge to them. We have a full band with guitars, drums, keyboards and vocals. Some Sundays we may mellow out and do a full acoustic set.

  • What are the sermons like?

    The messages come from the Word of God and are presented in a way where everyone can understand. Whether you know nothing about the Bible or are a seasoned follower of Christ, you will receive a relevant lesson to apply to your life.

  • Where is the church located?

    The Lifesong is located at 10300 Lower River Road in the Valley Station neighborhood of Louisville, KY. We are one block East of the Greenbelt Highway and .5 miles West of Dixie Highway.

We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ. 


The Scriptures

We believe the Holy Scriptures are the infallible, inerrant word of God. We believe it is the living, breathing word of God and recognize it as the final authority for our lives.


Community

We strive for unity, offer acceptance, receive and give forgiveness. We understand that through Jesus we have a relationship with God and we share in that relationship with others.


Family and Kids

We believe the family unit, no matter what its size, is extremely important to God and to us as a church family. We teach Biblical truths that will be the standard by which the whole family live their lives.


Authenticity

We are different to make a difference. We are open to change, we are adaptable, unique and we are original based on the direction God has provided for us.


Worship

One of the duties of the church is to allow the people to worship and celebrate the Savior. Our worship is presented in a way that draws people to the presence of God.


Integrity

We do what we say we will, with excellence, and hold each accountable for doing it.


Discipleship

We value building disciples of Jesus. Teaching followers to read the word, pray, serve and give generously. Then they in turn build disciples.


Daring Faith

The leadership of The LifeSong stepped out on Faith when we began. We will continue to have faith that God is providing us the inspiration to do things that only God can do, by using The LifeSong, for the glory of His Kingdom.


Missional

The mission of The LifeSong is to teach you, not teach at you. Everything we do, our messages, our Bible studies, the music and our ministries are to help you learn more about Jesus, so you are able to draw closier to Him.

  • One God

  • Jesus Christ
